Volunteer

Orientation Overview

  • Orientation is $20 and includes a “Volunteer” shirt, name badge, and handbook.
  • All volunteers will receive a tour of our facilities, an overview of dog walking, dog and cat socializing, behavior patterns and safety, assisting with off-site events and grooming.
  • Orientation takes about an hour, after which volunteers are free to come and go at their own discretion.

     

    Special class times may be arranged in advance – please call 928-526-1076 to schedule.

    Volunteers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an parent/guardian when working at the facility.

Orientation Times

Thursday – 3:00 p.m.

Saturday – 11:15 a.m.

Puppy Aide
Dog Adoption Counselor

Kitten Aide
Cat Adoption Counselor
Off-Site Adoption Event Aide

Special Monthly Activities for children (generally making beds and blankets for animals, painting and helping make kennel cards, etc.)
