Spay & Neuter Services
Giving your pets the best life starts with responsible care — and spaying or neutering is one of the most important steps you can take.
What Is Spay & Neuter?
Spay – the surgical procedure to remove the ovaries and uterus of a female animal, preventing her from becoming pregnant.
Neuter – the surgical procedure to remove the testicles of a male animal, preventing him from fathering litters.
Both procedures are routine, safe, and performed by licensed veterinarians under anesthesia.
Why Spay & Neuter Is a Great Idea
Spaying and neutering your pets isn’t just about preventing litters — it’s about giving them a healthier, happier, and longer life.
Benefits for Your Pet
Better Health: Spaying eliminates the risk of uterine infections and greatly reduces the risk of mammary (breast) cancer in females. Neutering prevents testicular cancer and lowers the risk of prostate problems in males.
Better Behavior: Fixed pets are less likely to roam, mark territory, or display aggression caused by hormones.
Longer Lifespan: Pets who are spayed or neutered often live longer, healthier lives.
Benefits for the Community
Fewer Homeless Animals: Every year, millions of cats and dogs end up in shelters. Spaying and neutering help prevent unwanted litters.
Less Strain on Animal Shelters: By reducing accidental litters, more shelter resources can go to animals already in need.
